This week's challenge for
Tuesdays with Dorie is Caramel Crunch Bars. I mini-sized mine as buttons made in mini muffin cups and they came out pretty darn cute. Not much to report on these, to be honest. They have a buttery shortbread crust scented with a bit of espresso, studded with dark of chocolate and topped with dark chocolate and toffee bits. Mmm mmm good. I think that says it all.

If you'd like to try your hand at these as either buttons or bars, you can find the recipe on Whitney's blog,
What's Left on the Table.

How adorable and creative! These look perfect, nice job! Mine were a bit crisp, but still tasty :)
Those look amazing! I can just imagine how good they are.
Nice pictures and new blog styling too!
What a lovely version of the bars... much neater... and cuter!
Very nice touch, Kitty!
How very adorable.
What a brilliant idea.
Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to do minis. I so wish I did.
They're really cute! These were so rich that the small size would be perfect.
What a clever idea! I wish I'd thought of that!
Cute little buttons. Perfect size and they won't break when you cut them. Yummy!!!
I love your caramel crunch buttons. How cute and delicious!
I like the idea of the minis. I'm afraid that I would keep popping them in my mouth, however.
i love how you made little buttons! actually, i just used heath toffee bits, i didn't make my own toffee :P
What adorable little buttons! Great for portion control, too!!!
Teanna, I WISH they were good for portion control. Instead, I just eat two small ones instead of one big bar. Oh well. :) Thanks for the kind words.
Yum, these look really tasty!
These little buttons rock! I am so stealing this idea! I bet this makes them the perfect serving size.
